Delicious and protein loaded smoothie that will keep you full for hours. I kind of wanted to call this a “milk” shake but that didn’t sound nearly as healthy, or something you would want to drink after a workout. Equally as delicious as any milkshake I have enjoyed, but no guilt!!
Banana Almond Butter Protein Shake
Around 400 calories per smoothie
1 cup almond milk
1/2 frozen banana
0.3 oz chia seed (around 1 tbsp)
1 tbsp almond butter
0.6 oz vanilla protein powder (I used Vega Sport)
1 tsp cinnamon
1/3 tsp vanilla powder
pinch of Himalayan salt
1 cup ice
Add all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth.
